There are a variety of routes through which young people can develop the right skills and knowledge to compete for jobs and prosper in a changing labour market. The provision of a high quality, well-funded, and accessible post-16 system is vital to support young people to make informed choices about their future. This research area shines light on all aspects of the current tertiary education system – examining whether the current model is built in a way that is fair, balanced, and in the best interests of young people.
