The Education Policy Institute has published its 2019 Annual Report on the state of education in England – including the progress made in closing the gap in attainment between disadvantaged pupils and their peers.
This infographic displays the key findings from this year’s report – including pupil attainment; the size of the disadvantage gap; the latest trends on the gap; projections for when it is set to close; breakdowns by pupil group, including by ethnic background and those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), and the extent to which the post-16 destinations of pupils are segregated.
