Events

EPI holds dozens of events each year focusing on our core areas of research and expertise.

We partner with a diverse range of high profile organisations – including academia, the third-sector, education providers, exam boards and private sector organisations – to run events that seek to influence policy debates, generate high-level engagement and disseminate research findings.

Recent events include partnering with Capita to host a series of webinars focused on school effectiveness, the Nuffield Foundation on the use of AI and EdTech in Multi-Academy Trusts, Funding Futures on targeted early years investment, AQA on the Curriculum and Assessment Review, LSE alongside the legislative journey of the Children’s Wellbeing and Schools Bill, and Hachette Learning on phonics for maths.

From public events and webinars to private roundtables, as well as an extensive programme of events at each of the political party conferences, we consistently secure high profile attendees and speakers – including, as recent examples, the Education Secretary, Minister of State for School Standards, the Opportunity Mission Champion, the Children’s Commissioner, the Chair of the APPG for Young Carers and Young Adult Carers, the Chair of the Curriculum and Assessment Review panel, the OECD Director for Education and Skills and several members of the House of Lords.
