Should Ofsted hold schools to account for teacher workload and development? In a presentation delivered at the Education Policy Institute event ‘Ofsted: Where Next?’ Chief Economist Peter Sellen assesses Ofsted’s current remit in this area, and whether it is feasible for it to be expanded.
The presentation is based on findings from the October EPI report, ‘Teacher workload and professional development in England’s secondary schools: insights from TALIS’.
