Zahra joined EPI in November 2023, after obtaining a MPhil in Education (with distinction) from the University of Cambridge. As a student co-researcher at the Cambridge Centre for Teaching and Learning, Zahra contributed to the Access and Participation Plan: Participatory Action Research Project seeking to close awarding gaps historically experienced by disabled undergraduates.  

 In 2022, Zahra completed her undergraduate in Classics at the University of Oxford, where she was extensively involved in access and widening participation activities. As a graduate intern at the Oxford Centre for Teaching and Learning, she worked on a project exploring student experiences of academic transitions and study skills support.
