Lorna joined EPI in 2021. Her first degree was in Biology and after working in STEM enrichment she trained as a secondary science teacher. Lorna later moved into HE Admissions and Outreach where she was part of an award-winning team improving the use of Widening Participation information in admissions decisions. She completed an MSc in Social Policy (Research) at the London School of Economics and Political Science, specialising in Education Policy and the determinants of undergraduate degree performance. Lorna works 3 days per week at EPI while completing her PhD considering the design, evaluation and governance of the UK e-scooter trials, undertaken with the Active Travel Academy at the University of Westminster.
