Daniel Carr

Senior Researcher, Post-16 and Skills

Prior to joining EPI in January 2018, Daniel worked as an Advisor at The Behavioural Insights Team where he designed and ran randomised controlled trials in education, and developed behavioural science informed solutions to challenges across a variety of policy areas. He was previously a policy advisor to Australian Federal MP Clare O’Neil, the Foundation for Young Australians and Teach For Australia. Daniel also taught in a rural secondary school, serving on the school council and heading its humanities department. 

He holds a First Class Honours degree in Economics from Monash University, undergraduate degrees in Economics and Commerce from the University of Queensland, and a Graduate Diploma in Teaching from Melbourne University’s Graduate School of Education.
