This year we are pleased to announce that our annual lecture speaker will be Professor Kirabo Jackson from Northwestern University School of Education & Social Policy in Chicago, USA.
The lecture will bring together some of his most insightful and influential research to date, including the effect of teacher quality on pupils’ soft skills and labour market outcomes, the importance of ‘matching’ teachers to schools to improve teacher quality, and the effect of increased education spending on attainment and economic outcomes.
The lecture will be introduced by EPI’s Executive Chair, David Laws and there will be a question and answer session with Prof. Jackson chaired by Natalie Perera (Executive Director, EPI). The speeches will be followed by a drinks reception, where guests can network and discuss the research presented.
