The Education Policy Institute will be hosting a conference on the future of school inspection, with perspectives from the both the current and future Chief Inspector of Schools. This conference will present new data and research from the Education Policy Institute which will examine the effectiveness of Ofsted inspection, particularly in relation to schools with high levels of disadvantage.
Speakers include: HMCI, Sir Michael Wilshaw; incoming HMCI, Amanda Spielman; Andreas Schleicher (Director of Education and Skills, OECD); Russell Hobby (General Secretary, NAHT) as well as a panel discussion including Sam Freedman (Teach First); Natalie Perera (Education Policy Institute); Jonathan Simons (Policy Exchange) and Malcolm Trobe (General Secretary, ASCL).
